This file includes the following reports on West Europe: a German Air Force (GAF) report on the operational situation of the German offensive, on December 21; a situation report for Army Group B, for December 21; that three additional GAF fighter groups are concerned in a special operation, involving low-level attacks on parked aircraft; that GAF formations on a special operation are to operate over their target until their fuel has been exhausted, on December 21; reports of Allied armoured moves, on December 21; of German and U.S. advances in the Liége area, on December 20; that a Parachute Army school is not yet ready for practice as equipment has not been delivered, as of December 20; that Himmler orders two Belgian brigades to be brought up to establish order behind the 6th Army's lines, on December 20; and of a German attack on the southern bank of the Loire from St Nazaire, on December 21; and on East Europe: of a large-scale Soviet attack in Latvia, on December 21.
