Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on West Europe: of the 80th Army Corps taking over the flak protection of advancing forces, on December 19; the 66th Army Corps report an advance, on December 20; of a request for short wave radio, on December 20; of strong Allied movements in the Liege-Maastricht area, on the night of December 19-20; an Army Group B report, for December 17; of the 25th Army taking over from the 15th Army in Holland, on December 17; on the effects of Allied air action; and on emergency landing grounds for eight German Air Force (GAF) fighter groups on special operations, on December 20; Naval Headlines; from the French minister in Athens, regarding Bulgarian aid to Greek rebels, on December 18; from the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs to all stations, propaganda guidance, on December 18; and guidance on Churchill's speech, from December 15; and from Dragoumis in Athens to the Greek Embassy in London, on the question of a Greek regency, on December 18, with a comment from the Prime Minister (PM) to the Foreign Secretary.
