This file includes the following reports on West Europe: that the 81st Army Corps urgently requests German Air Force (GAF) support, on December 8; and that Hitler demands the West Wall is held at all costs, on December 7; Naval Headlines; from the Turkish Legation in Berne, on the German internal situation, as at December 5; and from (and to) the Japanese Minister for Foreign Affairs to (and from) the ambassador in Berlin, noting a German desire for peace with the Soviet Union; and differences among its leaders, on November 24 and December 2.
