A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on West Europe: a 1st Army report, for December 4, noting slight Allied gains in the Saar area; 64th Corps reports, for December 4, stating that the Schlettstadt garrison was smashed; Naval Headlines; from the Japanese Minister for Foreign Affairs to the ambassador in Berlin, marking recent trends in the policy of the Allies, on November 25; from the Japanese ambassador in Italy, describing German military plans in Italy, on November 29, which the Prime Minister (PM) wishes Field Marshal Alexander to see; and from the French General Beynet in Beirut, to the ambassador in Moscow, on a conversation with General Spears.
