Description

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on West Europe: that Army Group H is to blow up a dam to flood east Holland and then attack the Nijmegen bridge, on December 1; and that the 90th Army Corps establish a new defence line in the face of an Allied thrust, on November 30; and on Germany: of accommodation difficulties in the Wuerttemberg area because of large numbers of evacuees and troops, on November 30.
