A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on Germany: that Army H Group B request German Air Force (GAF) protection for troop arrivals in the areas of Erkelenz, Bedburg and Kal, 15 km west of Muenstereifel, on November 2; and Naval Headlines, covering the Panther Group of U-boats being put on a high degree of vigilance for a Soviet Union-U.K. convoy; and the Japanese convoy SI-MA-04 being attacked by an Allied submarine, with the Hachijin Maru being hit by torpedoes.
