Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on West Europe: that Army Group B are expecting a continuation of concentric Allied attacks against the 15th Army, with the left wing to be re-inforced with forces brought up from the Parachute Army; the 67th Corps reports the 719th Infantry Division's withdrawal to a new main defence line; a 67th Army Corps report from Battle Group Chill, stating that an Allied thrust to the railway 3 km west of Vijfhoek was repelled; the 346th Infantry Division report that Tollberg has been occupied by the Allies; of the 719th Division being withdrawn from the 67th Corps as an Army Reserve, on October 25; and the Abwehr report Allied landings in the Cologne area are planned within the next few days, on October 27.
