Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on West Europe: of German Air Force (GAF) Supreme Command preparing very strong fighter forces to be used in the event of Allied large-scale attacks, on October 25; and that the GAF are to renew a bombing attack on the Antwerp sluice, on October 26; on South-east Europe: on naval matters in the Adriatic, from October 23 and 26; Naval Headlines; the Japanese ambassador in Moscow suggests caution on a renewal of the Japanese-Soviet neutrality treaty, on October 20; and from the Greek ambassador in Ankara, noting Turkish satisfaction with the outcome of the Moscow talks on the Balkans, on October 25.
