Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports: Naval Headlines; from the Japanese Foreign Minister to the ambassador in Berlin, that Japan claims victories off both Formosa and the Philippines, on October 16; from the Siamese minister in Berlin, noting German hopes that divisions between the Allies will produce a negotiated peace, on October 13; from the Spanish minister in Budapest, that the Hungarian regent's palace was attacked by German troops, and the regent taken to Germany, on October 19; and from the Swiss Legation in Budapest, on the regent Horthy being taken to Germany, and the persecution of the Jews, on October 18.
