A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on Western Europe: two battle reports in Holland, for October 6; that it is inadvisable to bring up supply trains into the Saarburg area, on September 27; of orders by Fieldmarshal Von Rundstedt to withdraw and replace units, on October 5; of Army Group G's orders to transport away the 3rd Panzer Grenadier Division, on October 5; that Hitler orders the avoidance of concentrations of people, and encourages camouflage and dispersal owing to increased Allied air attacks, on October 5; on the eastern boundary of the Commander in Chief (C-in-C) West's area being defined, on October 1; on South-east Europe: of the evacuation of Scarpanto harbour, on October 5; and on Hungary: a situation report, for September 29.
