Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on West Europe: that the Army Group B quartermaster (QM) can supply ammunition for a coming attack, on September 28, with a query from the Prime Minister (PM); that Army Group G orders the 5th Panzer Army to restore the situation in the 66th Army Corps' area, on September 28; on the state of bringing up reinforcements by rail to the Holland-West Germany area, on September 28; and of the 4th Parachute Division's casualties, for the period from September 10-20; from the Japanese representative in Berlin of the Interior Ministry, describing growing uneasiness in Germany, on September 25; from the Greek ambassador in Ankara, that the Soviet ambassador says the Red Army is not to advance further into the Balkans, on September 26; and on Germany: on morale and the internal situation there (not included).
