A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on West Europe: that the 10th SS Panzer Division expects an Allied attack, on July 29; that the 84th Army Corps withdraw on the night of July 28-29; two reports of battle contact by the 74th Army Corps which is new on the Normandy front, for July 28-29; and that the German Air Force (GAF) 9th Flying Corps plan the mining of Cherbourg harbour, on July 28; and on Roumania: of air raid damage to Ploesti on July 15.
