This file includes the following reports on West Europe: that General Lieutenant Pickert, commanding the 3rd Flak Corps in Normandy, is to report to Hitler at Angerburg, in East Prussia, on July 26; on indications of a move of the 2nd Panzer Division from the Caumont sector to south of Caen, on July 23; and that the 2nd SS Panzer Division take 250 prisoners, on July 23; on South Europe: that German Air Force (GAF) reconnaissance shows a build-up in the Naples-Salerno area for an Allied landing operation, on July 23; on Germany: of GAF fuel economy measures, on July 11; and the Ground Officer Commanding (GOC) the Parachute Army rejects a suggestion that the fighting power of paratroops is falling, on July 21.
