Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on Western Europe: battle reports from the 2nd Parachute Corps for July 13, describing heavy losses while opposing Allied forces in the St Lo area; and on Southern Europe: a battle report from the Hermann Goering Division for July 12/13, stating that the division is to be soon withdrawn from Italy, and possibly to be transferred to the command of the Commander in Chief (C-in-C) West.
