Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on West Europe: the 9th SS Panzer Division reports the loss of Eterville and Maltot, and that the 10th SS Panzer Division intends to re-take Maltot, on July 10; of the front line from Maltot-Caen, on July 10; and on the Cherbourg Peninsula, that the Panzer Lehr Division is under attack, and that a U.S. attack makes considerable progress, on July 10; from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Berlin to all stations, a propaganda directive regarding flying bombs, on July 7; from the German ambassador in Madrid, regarding British propaganda about German peace-feelers, on July 3; and from the Turkish Embassy in Berlin, that the ambassador is going to Salzburg to meet Ribbentrop, on July 8.
