A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following correspondence: from the Japanese ambassador in Berlin, a report of June 19 on information obtained from the German Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs, giving a summary of the Normandy fighting to date and likely future developments in France against London, of likely Soviet moves, and on the Turkish Foreign Minister's resignation and the implications for Germany; when covering likely future developments in France the ambassador noted that the Germans still considered that there was a great likelihood of General Patton's group of 23 divisions in England landing between Dieppe and Boulogne; this item is not on the coversheet.
