Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on West Europe: that the German front line is east of Orne, as at June 17; a report on the II Parachute Corps' area, for June 16; an LXXXIV Corps report, for June 16; that the II SS Reich Division has left the XLVII Corps' area, on June 17; that the 13th Flak Division expects an attack by Allied forces concentrated at Tilly, on June 16; a German Air Force (GAF) situation report, for June 16, reckoning the enemy forces to comprise two armies, and elements of about twenty divisions; that the German Railway Traffic Directorate at Caen orders night traffic only, from June 15; and that the 13th Flak Division orders that the French resistance and Frenchmen fighting without Allied uniforms are to be treated as insurgents, on June 17.
