Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on West Europe: a German Air Force (GAF) report on the ground situation, as of June 15; a LXXXIV Corps report, for June 15, covering a new defence line on the Cotentin Peninsula; and that the Air Corps X suffers serious attacks on bomber airfields, on June 14-15, with dispersal measures being ordered; on South Europe: that 3600 soldiers and war material are to be evacuated from Elba in operation Boudoir, on June 10 and 16; and of a steamship being sunk in the northern Adriatic, on June 16.
