A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file contains a message from C to General Sir Hastings Ismay (see the Prime Minister's (PM's) note on T213/8); and the following report on West Europe: that 10000-12000 'terrorists' with heavy weapons are in an untenable position in the Bordeaux area, on June 11; with a comment from the PM to the Chiefs of Staff (COS) Committee that 'I believe it might be an easy plum to reach'.
