This file includes the following reports on South Europe: of further German withdrawals in all sectors, on June 14; and on the XIV Panzer Corps' withdrawal line, on the night of June 14-15; on South-east Europe: that the German Air Force (GAF) in Greece are not to use BF110s for guerilla reconnaissance, because of their high fuel consumption, from June 9; Naval Headlines, covering a bombing attack on Le Havre that sinks many ships; and from the Japanese ambassador in Venice, saying that Mussolini is calm and is to fight to the end, on June 8.
