Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on West Europe: the Captain (U-boats) West reports a delay of supply trains as a result of enemy action, on June 13; that probably the 21st Panzer Division is to attack to clean up east of the Orne, on June 15; that the 2nd Panzer Division appreciates an enemy build-up on the Villers-Bocage salient, on June 14; the LXXXIV Corps reports an enemy penetration on the coast northeast of Montebourg; and that Jodl orders production at Wolfram mines in France to be preserved at all costs, on June 6.
