Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on Italy: of Kesselring's orders for the withdrawal of the 14th Army and the 10th Army as a consequence of Allied successes at Tarquinia and south of Vetralla; on France: a 3rd Air Fleet situation report for June 8; an intelligence assessment that further Allied landings outside the bridgehead are likely; and of tactics suggested for employment by fighter aircraft against Allied bombers, from May 20.
