This file contains a message from C to the Prime Minister (PM); and the following reports on France: of the weather conditions preventing all air activity, on June 6; of lorry space being requested to bring the 2nd Parachute Corps for the exposed west coast, where the facilities are exhausted, on June 9; of the 2nd Air Corps being requested to collaborate with Panzer Group West, on June 9; German Air Force (GAF) intelligence reports the situation at Bayeux is not clear, and that a new defensive position has been built up on Avre east of Isigny, on June 9; that a State of Emergency has been declared and GAF stations have been put on alert for terrorist activity; that telephone communications with Bordeaux, Toulouse and Ossun have been cut; and of a shooting affray in Soumoulou.
