A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on West Europe: of a heavy air attack on Nantes and Lorient; and of parachute troops being dropped west of St Malo, on June 8; of the 17th SS Panzer Grenadier Division being subordinated to the 7th Army, from June 7; that the German Air Force (GAF) are to attack troop concentrations on the coast and warships, on June 7; and of preparations for blowing up St Malo harbour, on June 7.
