A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on South Europe: a 2nd Air Fleet report for the night of June 6-7; that the 90th Panzer Grenadier Division is moving to form a defence line in the Narni area, on June 6; that the 14th Panzer Corps is withdrawing to a new defence line; and that the 1st Parachute Division is withdrawing to a line north of Tivoli, on June 7; that the German Navy prepare to demolish and evacuate San Stefano, on June 6; of the 10th Army's withdrawal intentions, on June 5; and that the Commander in Chief (C-in-C) for the Southwest is to transfer his battle HQ to Monsummano, northwest of Florence, on June 4.
