A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on West Europe: that Admiral Doenitz orders an all-out attack by U-boats on every possible ship engaged in the landing, on June 7; and on South Europe: that the Commander in Chief (C-in-C) for the Southwest orders the 162nd Division to Orbetello, and the 19th German Air Force (GAF) Field Division and the 16th SS Panzer Grenadier Division to coastal defence respectively south and north of Leghorn, on June 5.
