A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on South Europe: battle reports show the 14th Corps' withdrawal to a line northeast of Tivoli, on June 6; of the 162nd Infantry Division moving from Leghorn to the Orbetello area, on June 6; and on the state of divisional moves in north Italy, as of June 4, with the transport situation being excessively bad; and on South-east Europe: of the Allies being forced to withdraw from Brac, on June 5.
