Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on South Europe: that the German Air Force (GAF) are to cease all airfield work south of Piombino-San Benedetto and to destroy airfields in good time, on June 5; of the 14th Panzer Corps' defence line for June 6; and that the 362nd Infantry Division withdraws to the northwest of Rome, on June 5; and on South-east Europe: that the 2nd Panzer Army is to send four battalions as reinforcements to win back Brac, on June 4.
