This file includes the following reports on South Europe: of the 334th Infantry Division moving to the Rieti area to undertake a new task, on June 4; of the 15th Panzer Grenadier Division being deployed on a defence line along the River Aniene, on June 4; that the 26th Panzer Division is to transfer on June 5 to north-northeast of Rome; that tank transports are due in Florence, and detailing arrangements for their distribution, on June 2; and on the German employment of eastern battalions formed from Soviet PoWs; on South-east Europe: of counter-measures to the Allied unloading of artillery on Brac, on June 4; and that the Germans assess the Brac landing to have a long-term objective of opening a supply route to Tito, on June 4.
