Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on South Europe: that the 362nd Infantry Division is to move to the old battle HQ of the 1st Parachute Corps, on June 2; that the Commander in Chief (C-in-C) for the Southwest complains that the state of training of the newly brought up divisions in Italy is very low, on May 31; and the C-in-C for the Southwest's supplementary return shows the 715th Division only had one serviceable heavy anti-tank gun, as of May 29; on Germany: a report of a raid on Aachen, on the night of May 27-28; and from the Japanese ambassador in Venice, relaying conversations with the German ambassador and Mussolini on the war, on May 25.
