Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on Southern Europe: of further withdrawals being planned on the Italian Front by the 15th and 90th Panzer Grenadier Divisions and by the 5th Mountain Division, for June 1; that the 26th Panzer Division is to withdraw to the Paliono area overnight on June 1/2; that the 5th Mountain Division is to withdraw overnight on June 1/2 to the south-east of the Avezzano depression; and battle reports for several German units on the Italian Front, for May 31.
