A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following correspondence: a minute from the Director of Military Intelligence (DMI) to C covering the Chief of the Imperial General Staff's (CIGS's) reply (reference CIGS/PM/519) to the Prime Minister's (PM's) minute of May 27 (reference M641/4) - reference CIGS/PM/519 was abstracted by the PM and not included; Naval Headlines; and from the French representative in Washington, a report of May 20 to Algiers in French, indicating French interest in the planning of bombing targets in France.
