A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on Southern Europe: more combat reports from the bridgehead area for May 23, describing Allied penetrations in the Cisterna area during an intensive attack; that the increasingly acute mine situation on the Danube necessitates the fastest possible conversion of tugs for sweeping purposes, on May 19; and Naval Headlines for May 22; and for May 24.
