Description

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on Southern Europe: that Corps Group Haucke appreciated a German attack in the Allied assembly position, on May 15; the 51st Mountain Corps' situation report, for May 14; more battle reports on the Italian Front, for May 14; and of the 94th Infantry Division's new front line and New Zealand forces being identified as opposing the 5th Mountain Division, on May 14; on the Russian Front: on the results of personnel being transported out of Crimea, on May 14; and Naval Headlines.
