Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on the general war: the Commander in Chief (C-in-C) West's detailed appreciation, as at May 8; on Southern Europe: of the 44th Division being subordinated to the 1st Parachute Division in order to clean up penetrations, on May 13; on Southern Europe: a day report from the 51st Mountain Corps, for May 13; on the move of the HQ of the 51st Mountain Corps, on May 12; of the German Air Force's (GAF's) intentions for May 14; of indications that the 90th Panzer Grenadier Division is moving, on May 13; on the 15th Panzer Grenadier Division taking over part of the 94th Division's front, on May 13; and that the GAF claim a successful surprise attack on two airfields in Corsica, on May 13.
