A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on Southern Europe: that the 94th Division urgently requires reconnaissance and an operation by ground attack aircraft, on May 12; of fighting in the 51st Corps' area on May 12; heavy air attacks on supply roads were reported by the 94th Division on May 12; that Porto Ferraio on Elba was devastated by Allied raids on May 12; that increased readiness at Pola and Leghorn was in force on May 12; and Naval Headlines.
