A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on South Europe: that the Commander in Chief (C-in-C) for the Southwest seeks Italian military internees from Germany to repair electrical installations on railway supply routes and supply installations that have been destroyed in Allied air raids, on April 26; that an Allied air attack closes San Stefano's harbours, on April 28; and that the bombing of Piombino is now at its heaviest, on April 28-29; on West Europe: that a German ammunition ship blows up, causing damage to Fort Bergenhus, on April 20; on Germany: that the German Air Force (GAF) are to set up a special air transport unit at Schonwalde, on April 28; and Naval Headlines.
