This file includes the following reports on West Europe: of large-scale sabotage in Bergen, on April 20; on South-east Europe: that the Germans are to set up a second Moslem division to aid in the pacification of north Bosnia, on April 10; Naval Headlines, covering Japanese shipping losses; from DiploFrance in Algiers, instructions to modify Cordell Hull's speech so as not to give propaganda to Vichy, on April 11; a note to the Prime Minister (PM) by AC (AE - Anthony Eden?) on French telegrams from London to Algiers, on April 21; from the Japanese Minister for Foreign Affairs to the ambassador in Berlin, that an agreement for closer Japanese-German cooperation gives the ambassador the opportunity for increased regular contact with Nazi leaders, from April 18; and from the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs to all stations, stating the German reaction to Churchill's ban on diplomatic communications prior to the launching of the second front, on April 18 - the PM says the Foreign Secretary is to see this.
