A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on South-east Europe: from the Admiral for the Aegean on the strategic importance of holding Corfu, on April 5 and 6; the Prime Minister's (PM) query to General Wilson on what he is doing about the Adriatic islands, on April 22; on South Europe: the 10th Army chief quartermaster's day report for April 17, describing Allied raids on railways; on the Southern Russian Front: that Hitler orders that Sevastopol is to be held, on April 18; T159/20 (see 6366); Naval Headlines; from the Portuguese minister in Hungary, detailing the Hungarian situation, a decree against the Jews, and that Soviet troops are on the frontier, on April 17; and on Egypt: on a political crisis there, on April 18.
