Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on the Southern Russian Front: of the Crimean situation, as at April 10, with a Roumanian infantry division having disintegrated; a [9th Flak Division] report, for April 10; and on the land situation in Crimea, as at April 11, describing a Soviet break-through in Crimea, and a withdrawal from the Kerch area; from the Greek chargé in Ankara to the Greek government in Cairo, detailing the catastrophic bombing of Bucharest, with Roumania now actively seeking to get out of the war, on April 10; from the Turkish minister in Berne, that Bulgarian opposition parties are in contact with the Soviets, on April 5; Naval Headlines; and T151/71 and ZIP/SJA/41, a message from the Japanese naval attaché in Berlin, are not included.
