This file includes the following reports on South-east Europe: of tanker-lighters being attacked by Allied aircraft near Zara, on April 3, 7 and 8; and that the German Admiral for the Adriatic warns of a possible Allied landing on the Dalmatian coast, on April 4; on South and South-east Europe: the German Army General Staff warn of the possibility of landings in southern France, and that the aim of the Italian and Balkans operations is to tie down German forces, on April 8; on the Southern Russian Front: that the 1st Panzer Army effects a junction with the 2nd SS Panzer Corps, on April 8; that Odessa is to be evacuated on the night of April 11-12; that the Germans are caught in heavy defensive fighting on the north Crimean Front, with the defensive situation critical, on April 8; Army Group South's situation report, for the morning of April 9; and on the ground situation in Crimea early on April 9.
