This file includes the following reports on Germany: of air raids on Krefeld, on March 29-30; and of air raids on Essen, on March 27; Naval Headlines; from the French representative in Moscow to DiploFrance in Algiers, describing positive support from the Soviet government, on March 30; from the Portuguese chargé in Bucharest, that the Germans are accused of abandoning Roumania to her fate, on April 2; and from Ribbentrop to the German Embassy in the Vatican, an assertion that the German forces are not using Rome and blaming the Allies for turning extensive districts into a heap of ruins, on March 25.
