Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on Germany: of air raids on Krefeld, on March 29-30; and of air raids on Essen, on March 27; Naval Headlines; from the French representative in Moscow to DiploFrance in Algiers, describing positive support from the Soviet government, on March 30; from the Portuguese chargé in Bucharest, that the Germans are accused of abandoning Roumania to her fate, on April 2; and from Ribbentrop to the German Embassy in the Vatican, an assertion that the German forces are not using Rome and blaming the Allies for turning extensive districts into a heap of ruins, on March 25.
