Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on Italy: a report from the Regional Commandant in Ancona for March 24, noting Allied air raids on Senigallia and Ancona, on March 24; on South-east Europe: of the Hvar situation on March 24 and 25; on Eastern Europe: of indications that the German Air Force (GAF) ground organisation HQ has moved back from Lvov to Cracow, on March 25; Naval Headlines, covering that the northern waters U-boat patrol line consists of the Thor, Hammer and Blitz Groups; that the Japanese battleships Nagato and Fuso and the aircraft carrier Zuikaku were ordered to Singapore; and that the aircraft of the 3rd Carrier Squadron are to train in the Inland Sea during April.
