This file includes the following reports on the Italian Front: a report from the 14th Panzer Corps on the Cassino Front, stating that a renewed Allied attack east and south-east of Cassino is making progress, on March 20; that the 114th Jaeger Division (on the central Anzio Front) is transferring to a new area, on March 20; the German Naval Harbour master at Piombino reported the outer mole was damaged following an Allied air raid, on March 20; and of Rommel's staff being addressed via the Commander in Chief (CinC) West, on March 3; on Western Europe: that U-boat HQ, expecting a new Murmansk convoy, regards a successful attack as of decisive importance, and gives an outline plan of the operation, on March 18; and on Eastern Europe: the 4th Air Fleet's summary of reconnaissance results of March 19 in front of the 17th, 6th, and 8th Armies and the 1st and 4th Panzer Armies.
