Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on Southern Europe: that the 1st Parachute Corps fighting in the Nettuno bridgehead area estimates the Allies are preparing to initiate a new large-scale attack, on March 19; that the 65th Division in the same area considered the expected attack had started early on March 19; and on the results of an Allied air raid on road and rail communications on the outskirts of Rome, on March 19.
