Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on Southern Europe: that elements of the 65th Division have been withdrawn by train from the Anzio bridgehead area to an area north of Rome, on March 9; that elements of the Hermann Goering Division arrive in northern Italy from the west via the Brenner Pass, on March 9; that the 2nd Panzer Army expects major commando and guerilla attacks against the Yugoslav Adriatic coast and adjacent islands, on March 15, and orders increased readiness for all German forces in the area; and Naval Headlines.
