Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on Southern Europe: 4 reports from German units in the Cassino area, for March 15, describing Allied advances being supported by reinforcements, and German losses; that the Hermann Goering Division sends men to Berlin for training on the new Panther Mark V tank, on March 4; a situation report for Yugoslavia, for March 13-14, stating that some 12,000 guerrillas are marching on Split, and detailing Allied air supply flights over the north Dalmatian coastal area from Italy and over central Bosnia from the Soviet Union; and on the Russian Front: that the German Navy starts evacuating Odessa, on March 13.
