A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on Southern Europe: that a German Air Force (GAF) fighter group was ordered to withdraw to Bonn from the Rome area, on March 8; of an Axis auxiliary vessel carrying ammunition to Benedetto on the Italian Adriatic coast being sunk by an Allied destroyer, on March 12; on the GAF's reorganisation in the south-eastern European and Atlantic areas, on March 13; and from the German Consulate in Tangier, on the trial of Pucheu, from March 6.
