This file includes the following reports on Southern Europe: that the 715th Infantry Division urgently requests low-level air attacks, with an enemy attack expected within the next few days, on March 11; four battle reports on the bridgehead, for March 10; that the Slovakian Construction Brigade is to move to the mountains east of Rome on March 15, reported on March 8; that the Sea Defence Commandant for the southern Adriatic complains of ceaseless Allied raids in the Cattaro area since February 29 resulting in absenteeism among local workers at the Tivat naval arsenal, on March 11; that the 2nd Panzer Army ordered that mobile reserves, ready for instant action in the central Dalmatian coastal area, are to be prepared, on March 6; and of the results of Allied air raid damage on Toulon on March 11; on the Russian Front: that the German 6th Army had on March 7 insufficient armoured vehicles to prevent Russian tanks from breaking through, on March 7; two reports on an assault gun brigade being brought up from Germany to Crimea, then being diverted to Army Group south, on March 4 and 6; and of indications that the 111th Infantry Division was on March 6 being transported to Crimea.
