A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on South-east Europe: an appreciation of the situation for February in Crete, on March 6; from the Foreign Minister in Tokyo, on Japanese propaganda, on March 4; from the French delegate in Stockholm, on Finnish peace negotiations, on March 8; from the Greek ambassador in Ankara, giving the Turkish Foreign Minister's views of Turkey and the U.K., on March 9; and from the Foreign Ministry in Ankara, describing Soviet-Hungarian negotiations, on March 8.
